Organisational Update

Tuesday, 02 August

In May, we wrote to you to inform you of some exciting developments underway at Australian air Express (AaE). These developments are about combining the Star Track Express and Australian air Express’ door-to-door businesses to create the largest domestic express service provider in Australia. We are pleased to update you that work is well underway and that from August we will begin to integrate and co-locate our Air freight depots right across Australia. This is all part of leveraging the scale, capacity and service capabilities of both businesses, creating a basis for us to be able to offer you an expanded range of freight solutions to meet your evolving needs.

Service disruption notification

Monday, 1 August 2011

On Saturday, 30 August 2011, police located an Australian air Express contractor’s truck, which had been involved in a single-vehicle accident in Northern New South Wales.

Customers in Tamworth, Narrabri and Moree are advised that delays are expected, however contingency plans are in place to reduce the impact.

Our drivers, contractors and staff at our depots are working hard to maintain normal pickup and delivery services and minimise delays in the effected region.

We appreciate your understanding during this time.
